Actually, I'm developing an appreciation for what I heard now.
At the time I remember being disappointed, but that was because my expectation was she would play techno and house and maybe some electro.

I would go hear her again and I think I'd enjoy it much more because I'd know what to expect.

It is true, what she is playing is the future of techno in Europe IMO. Hard techno will always exist and there will always be a market for it, but this sound appeals to so many more people than hard techno does. You can hear it anywhere - not just at a big club or festival. It's groovy and not pounding. I think it will take time for her fans to appreciate what she's doing but she is on the right track.

I know when she tours for her new CD in Toronto, people will be receptive to the new sound. We have quite a big tech-house and minimal techno scene here.

she's following the trend just like the other bandwagonners, nothing new IMO

I Can't wait to hear her new cd!!!

I think she got a amazing night, cuz she was the huge quality of the stereo sound system, that's what I saw on her website,in her stereo review.

Techno in afterhours are rare these days,so its normal to hear more minimal, electro, electrohouse, acidhouse and house beats. I wasnt surprise to know that barbara played more these style at stereo.
