| Actually it isnt fake. Nothing will happen to the drivers. They are insulated inside of the car. And were you expecting a crash and boom rumble rumble rumble? |

that's not why i called it fake...
First, why the holy would he be filming himself just driving around like that??
Second, dont u think the driver would have had some sort of reaction? At least jump a little, let out a little scream. You dont hear squat, the guy just keeps driving as if nothing happened... Hey, we're talking about a LIGHTNING BOLT HITTING YOUR CAR here! |

| If a lightning bolt hit the car, the battery would have instantly been fried. The car would have either gone berserk or just died that instant. The wipers kept going. |

| it's fake not because anything would have happened to the battery or the wipers. anyone who's passed grade 3 knows that a car is grounded via the tires to the road. so nothing will happen to it. please tell me that you were joking saying that you thought the wipers would go beserk. It's fake only because it's no where near bright enough. if that was real it would have totally blanked out the video screen with light. |

The TV fed me this info. :p
But really, I did see a show where they discussed what would happen/has happened to a car that was struck by lightning. There was a different reaction some of the times. So I'm going to have to believe my good 'ol friend Mr. Picture Box. All I know for sure is that your car's metal parts get charged so you shouldn't touch any of the metal. Safer to pull over to the side and place your emergency blinkers on as well as wait a significant amount of time for the car to become safe again. :thepirate |

I agree, fake...
The driver would have reacted, and, it wou;ld be HELLA louder. I once had lightning strike the fence in my back yard, the concussion from that shattered teh windows in the back of the house and about deafened me. ALso, it looks EXACTLY like something I can create using the plug in Eye Candy 4000 and Adobe After Effects. |
