That's right
He's Mike
That's right
He's amazinnnnnnnnnnng....

He has yet to learn how to ride a trike!
But with extreme ease, he pedals a bike!
An odder fella you shant not meet
If you look at his hands, you'll see his feet!

So let me tell you what he's all about
He makes the Trance with fruity loops
Uses a fly to fish in a lake of trout
And unzips his pants when in any groups

Of peeeoooplleeee....

edit: where has this assumption that producers cant dj come from? i understand that once u get a track signed u get more gigs but people seem to think that as i am better known as a producer than a dj i must be pants at djing. im not claiming to be the best dj in the world but i put alot of effort into being the best dj i can be, and im quite happy with that standard im at. :toothless

my point was that alot of mediocre djs get gigs based purely on their productions. i've never seen you dj although i have heard pretty good things from people so will have to try and get to see you some time. so what i think is wrong is that doing a decent production means they will be a decent dj. I remember Cosmic Gate at Slinky, nearly every mix was out.

and no you don't know me, quite a few of my friends know you though. but you haven't been into trance that long have you? i'm honestly not saying that's a bad thing tho, peace :);)

no, i havnt. the first music i really got into was drum n bass, and alot of big beat and stuff. the herbaliser, stone players, hardwire, fatboy slim, propellerheads. i was only introduced to trance about 4 years ago and only got really into it when i started producing it. when i made my first trance track i knew all about trance apart from that i liked what i was doing and that its very easy to produce these days. i dont really like it much anymore, i get bored of it quite easily. your point is fair, i dont know much about trance 10 years ago, so yes, if i was asked to do a classics set i would probably be lost lol. but the future is whats important, not the past. ill never be able to impress everybody but my main priority is to be happy with what im doing, which i am right now :toothless (cool smiley)

ps. whats your name? are you part of the good old slinky crew? i miss them lot! still.. back at xmas.. will have to get everyone together for a bit of a session.

Hey Mike, u make some wonderfull pianomelodies!
this might be a stupid question, but i was wondering if u make them yourself.
I let my dad (who loves classical music) listen to Love Theme Dusk and Shipwrecked, and he said "A Shame that this guy makes techno, he's a in genius"
Reactic

Ah 'Thunder' - would that be the same song from the amateur producers forum 'Dont know what to call this yet'??
If so, then I am glad you chose my name for it ;)
