When you said its a World Version whats the difference, the part where Richard was having that Jail guy coming in? Was that skipped on purpose or did he actually come on?

that was just a joke...
the difference is stuff is edited out to save time because the original show uses the ENTIRE hour... for example, how the news bit is really unsmooth, like they go from talking 1 second, top gear logo flashes then talking about something else doesnt happen...
also in this season on sbs, there's a segment where the viewers get to choose a car to be renovated (each week they show a different one..) - e.g. like the car from clock work orange...
they were supposed to have like renovated the car for season 6, but that didnt even end up happening.... heh probably the budget set to do it wasn't enough..

Oh my god how awesome did the Enzo look. That car is insane, and it clocked the fastest lap time 1 minute 19seconds flat, it whipped the Carrera and made it look like a kitten.

for tonight's ep on at 7.30pm sbs:
"In this episode, the team reveals the best and worst cars, while Jeremy takes the new Discovery up a decent size hill. The team also look at what the Swiss Rinspeed have come up with. Rinspeed are specialists in creating one-off cars, and they've created a car based on an A-class Mercedes that can be reduced in length at the flick of a switch and is the first hydrofoil. The Star In A Car this week is Joanna Lumley and she takes the Liana out on the track to show us what an absolutely fabulous driver she is. The teams also look at the car Keith Moon really did try to drive into a swimming pool."

Quote of the night's show (With relation to a stupid warning label on the new Dodge Viper) . . . . . .

" 'This is an open top car - Drive Carefully' . . . errr, no!"

Oh man, we use to watch this show all the time at uni. There is something delightfully amusing about guys with toffy pommish accents throwing cars around at high speeds. And the cars....hmmm.... *drool* ....some of them are pure mechanical artworks :D

It's on again tonight, 7.30 ;)
"This week, the team discover that the Pagani Zonda is a decent car, for just under $950,000. The Star In A Reasonably Priced Car, Jimmy Carr, manages to knock Simon Cowell off the top spot, while an ex-Royal Range Rover once belonging to Charles and Diana gets the Restoration treatment."
I think they also play conkers with caravans (erm... cranes... caravans... BANG...), Richard and James spend 24 hours in a "ForFour", and a vanquish vs a 575

Tonight, on top gear!

"This week's Star In A Car is none other than Hollywood mega-celebrity Christian Slater, who takes the Suzuki Liana for a bit of a spin. Richard looks at the latest Morgan, a car made of wood. He likes its power, and the way it looks like it's been crashed into a lamp post (you do have to wait 12 months for Morgan to make you one, though). And we find out if Renault's people carriers really can compete on the race track."

+Mercedes SL, and OMG the S type diesel around the nurburgring, you GOTTA see this one! :)

Never seen top gear before? WATCH IT! :)
