it's actually really cool to watch, especially as most of us came into the scene in 1999-2001. Really cool to see it back in the beginning, and see how much has changed.

Notice the lack of "Superstar DJ"ism.

westpoint 92....still have a ticket for that somewhere- as well as most of the tracks on that clip on vinyl. Have some fantazia stuff on dvd and of course all my old cassette 6 packs from back in the day.

Nothing has ever matched that original rave scene for energy and intensity- and that fact that it gave birth to several genres of music that wouldt exist nowadays is testament to it.
Cheers for posting that

Now where is the old fart smiley......

When'd the DJM 600 come out? It seems like they were using a radio shack mixer :)

And it's amazing how un-powerful the leads were :p

I've heard some of those songs still used today...like in the game Juiced...it has a song from that vid.

Oh dear god, I'm glad 92 is over :D

Isn't that last tune Shut Up & Dance - Raving I'm Raving?

Cheers for the vid nonetheless, I'd like to be at a night out where the big shot DJ is stuck in a booth in some dark corner. Wonder how things would develop then.
