Interesting. Dekay didn't play alot of his own productions. Was hoping he'd play "Bad." Only track I know that was played by Dekay was Above & Beyond - Alone Tonight (Matthew Dekay Remix):eyes: Soon to be released on Anjunadeep from what he said. There was another track he played during the night that had a female vocal.. Anyone know? And the only other ID I need was some melodic. It was the only melodic track I think he played. The melody was so damn familiar.

Ferry Corsten playlist (From what I know so far):

Moonman - Galaxia (Original Mix)
Sam Sharp - Hoover
Leon Bolier - My Precious
Ferry Corsten - I Love You
Gouryella - Ligaya (Original Instrumental)
Reflekt Feat. Delline Bass - Need To Feel Loved (Bootleg)
Marc Marberg - Guarana (Original Mix)
The Cranberries - Shattered (Arctic Quest Bootleg Remix)
Ferry Corsten Feat. Shelly Harland - Holding On (Ferry Corsten's Flashover Mix)
Ferry Corsten - Sweet Sorrow (Ferry Fix)
Aven - All I Wanna Do (Ferry Corsten Remix)
Ferry Corsten - Punk
F Massif - Somebody (Ferry Corsten Remix)
FB Feat. Edun - Who's Knocking? (Ferry Corsten Remix)
Ferry Corsten - Fire (Ferry's Flashover Mix)
Kai Tracid - Conscious (Ferry Corsten Remix)
Mirco De Govia - Vital Spark (Original Mix) :eyes: :tongue2

Well, ever think that this was just a club's polite way to kick people out? ;) I've even seen music CD compilations that had labels like "songs to clear the club" or smth along the lines.

Back to the night itself - First of all:

1. Big thank you to Bradley for comps - much appreciated! :D
2. Thanks to the bouncers - yes! the bouncers! they were actually polite and not friggin jerks like in most clubs. The guys at the door even let me give the extra tickets I had to my friends - something they usually don't allow.
3. Thank you to Matt - for tearing the place up
4. Big thank you to Ferry for being a consistent trend setter and banging out meanest sets!

Highlights of the night:

Hearing the following choons on club system made my night:

1. Airbase - Escape
2. Cranberies choon
3. Ligaya :eyes: w00t!

too many other bangin' tracks to remember.

Met a bunch of TAs and had a chance to sign a card - thank you guys!

overall the night was 8/10. My only complaint - lousy-ish sound... way too high on highs' - almost reminded me of the old Glow soundsystem. My ears were pulsating most of the day but good thing I had ear plugs and kept on popping them in/out when it became too much. Esp. when the fans would go off - jeeeeebussss!!! my ears!!! owwww!!!! otherwise, great atmosphere and good times.

btw reed room DJ canning rap/hip hop was a major downer - he wasn't even bothering to blend the tracks. no transitions, silences between tracks - awful! must have been the same guy closing for Ferry.

ugh... but overall - fun fun fun!!!

See you all around!

:D

I dare say Ferry's performance last night was better than Tiesto's on the 27th :p

The party was great! I saw a bunch of people walking up onto the stage with a cake and a big birthday card. I guess that was you lot :)

Another fantastic Ferry set
Matthew Dekay also played a marvelous opening set
Same for whoever was spinning in the Reed Room before the main floor opened

Great night. Dekay and Ferry both rocked it. Didn't stay till closing though.

My friends and I had a great time. Introduced them to the idea of leaving a club into broad daylight.

Good to see all y'all. Kadamony, Big Mike, Vtec Junkie, Bitchboy, Hitokiri, Phuzzyphish, Kid Nyce, Sveta, Colibri (?), Phoenixbebe, Drew, sot, dj buddha, photoaddict, groundhog boy, barosoap, et al.

SHATTERED!1!! haha love that bootleg

anyway, i'm still feeling like i could puke any second. drank WAY too much last night, glad i caught everything before i had that slice of cake. that sent me over the edge and i started puking like crazy into one of the black bins for the next 3 hours. not fun.
but i had some good choons to puke to so that was cool.
the bouncer was rly nice, he saw i really couldnt move and let me stay on the couch til the end of the night. :o
