This is the first Rated R film I saw as a kid when I was not supposed to. I finally got the Deluxe Edition dvd for this movie. I think its one of the greatest films ever made. Its also the first movie to make me cry. And it has also inspired me to make a film of my own (script in the works). |

| yip gotta be one of my favorite movies as well. i remember i saw the north american edition of this movie and the north american crowd missed out on alot of good stuff, if anyone hasnt watched the full version they should go get it NOW! |

This is a truly phenominal movie.
I remember wanting to see it for years and years and years when I was in gr. 7 or 8 and then through highschool.
But never did. FINALLY, after seeing Portman in Episode 2, that pushed me and MADE me HAVE to see this movie, simply bc she was in it. (I feel in love with Natlie Portman in Episode 2...cutest thing EVARRR!!)
HOLY ! And what a surprise was I in for. So remarkably well done.
Man, I want to re-watch this movie now. This new DVD I'm gonna think about getting. It's very inspiring, this movie.
Defiantly touched my heart and mind.
Good appreciation thread.

This looks very promising, any idea where I could get this version:
Léon: France:136 min (uncut version)
I would love to watch it in french without subtitles......
[edit]........just watched the trailer, anyone know if there is in fact a french version? As the trailer was simply english.

movie was filmed in english but if u get the deluxe edition, you can put the french audio on. the dvd is the uncut version |
