How do I time(shrink) a loop that's 140 to be 144? I use cubase- have no other programs for timestretch. While we're on the subject- what is timewarp in Cubase? It's on my list to read up on the manual about it.
ADSR
To timestretch your clip in Cubase, right-click on it > process > timestretch. Type in 140 for tempo in and 144 for tempo out then click on process. Alternatively, if you hold down left click on the first pointer tool...and choose "sizing applies timestretch", you can click and drag the actual audio clip from the bottom right corner of it to timestretch it. The timewarp tool permits you to click and drag the overall tempo of the entire sequence.
