Next iPod is supposed to have perpendicular hdd's er some like that.
Don't expect it to work though. |

| computers are weird, anything you can think of try it. make sure the ipod is on too. i spent over an hour trying to upload pictures from a digital camera one time only to realise the device needed to be turned on for windows to realise it was connected. |

no guys its not any of the usual problems that are overlooked
and not a bad cable because its an i pod shuffle
i installed the latest update but it is still not recognized
nothing is wrong with the usb drive either

Maybe plug n play isn't on? Try different usb ports. I'm sure there's at least 2.
Most newer motherboards have 4 - 6 and front ones also. |

| Try plugging it on another computer to see if the other computer detects it, Or try plugging it to a different USB slot, and look at the device manager and see if theres device with a ! on it, if so, remove it. |

Yah, and get 2 stinking hours of battery life in a format thats barely popular, takes hours to convert to, and forces you to lose quality.

Iriver or the new Vision M is probably the way to go. |
