Given Julia's scathing review, I'm glad I decided to skip Spundae and go snowboarding instead. :D

Imagine twice the crowd! Front room was packed from front to back, and so was the side room. It was so crowded in there, that it got extremely hot. Even security shut down the doors to the patio and made everyone go around.

Yeah I was. Thanks for the review, glad you had a good time :D

after reading these reviews..i guess im glad i didn't go...or...more like drove around 40 mins looking for parking..decided it was a lost cause..and went home... drove up to LA for nothing..and not wanting to go to Avalon alone...:nervous:

*note* my fault for not going to Vegas...:(

Wow.. That sucks... But After ready this review,, it looks like Vegas was the place to be... I haven't had so much fun in a very long time.. Got in the club at 10:00 and left at 9:30am with a stop to Drais in there at about 6am.. Ridiculously fun and met some of the coolest people to date.!!!

You missed out. :(

Armin brought in over 4,000 peeps that night...

Really curious to see what the ATB numbers are. I wouldn't be amazed if it was higher because it's his first time there....

I knew it would be crazy Saturday night in LA because of the MySpace feedback I've gotten (I run Spundae on MySpace)....I got a LOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTT of "Thank you!" for bring AvB....well, I easily got a lot more "thank you!" messages for bringing ATB than I got for Armin....before Spundae even announced ATB!

The common thing I heard with a lot of the messages....was from older clubbers who have been waiting to see him live since the late 90s.....so bet you Spundae LA brought in a little older crowd compared to usual.

So that's why Avalon was so damn comfy! All the washing machines must have been in full effect for ATB :p

Armin brought in 3800 according to Richard that night (Oct. 8).

ATB got the second largest crowd after that (though I didn't get the number before leaving). Peter looked very happy :)

I think pretty much everything about this Saturday has already been said. I'll add just this:

I'm too personally biased to give Thomas the very positive review that he deserves (as you can tell from other posts). But he knows, because I was there, and I don't get drinks for just any DJ ;)

Randy did a great job in the back room. His newest tune is awesome :eyes:

Great to see Mathieu as well; always love his productions, and a really cool guy with the nicest girlfriend :)

The musical highlight of my night had to be discovering just how good Carlos is!! I wasn't there for all of his set, but I liked ALL the tracks that I heard him spin. I'm sure we'll be hearing him again soon ;) so be on the lookout for his name!

One last thing... Read my chest (you had to be there ;)): HAPPY :D (that is, until someone took my grey Caltech sweatshirt from the floor of the main room DJ booth :whip: ) :wtf:
