Just though id post this as allot of newer djs have got the wrong impression when beatmatching, exspecially when using beatcounters. The pitch slider on turntabels are percentage based not tied to bpm. So when ur going down 1 notch its not taking the record from 127 bpm to 126 its taking it down 1% of 127 bpm. So if ur using beatcounters ur still going to have to get a feel for the slider u can just 'Mix by numbers' as iv found some djs beleive they can. That is all hope it helps

everyone should know that bpm counters are inacurate and should only be used as a rough guide..

That as well, inless ur using tap counters like the pioneer one thats built into the efx units counters are gonna be off by either a bit or a load. And if thur behringer then u can use the number it gives u times by pie cross refrenced to the vector of the moon rotation and multiplied into the final solution for the choas theory and ull get a more accurit number

Hahah...

My little brother was trying out my CDJ 1000s yesterday...and as hes matching it up in his headphones he gets this real puzzled look.

Me: "What?"

Bro: "Well in the headphones its matched...but this one says 128, that one says 126"

Me: "uh huh and?"

Bro: "Are your CDJs broken?"

Me: "Lawlerskates"
