Thanks to everyone for the replys, have been very helpful.

I have another question, those filters you mentioned there, They are only for the master Channel?, I mean if I want to manipulate the sound witht he filters on different channels at the same time, do I need to buy a pir of these filters?

And what's the price range of these filters?

Thanks.

what's your price for it?

I'm in France btw so shipping and such wouldn't be too much of a hassle.

I've been trying to get one on ebay but nobody ever sells one

I'm having pictures of it available
I'm willing to trade it for something in my wantlist...

You need a send/return on your mixer in order to use the filter on any channel. As for using filters on two different channels, you'll either need two filter units, or an Allen & Heath Xone:92 mixer, with two built-in filters.

The Electrix Filter Queen MAP is $149. The Allen & Heath Xone:VF-1 MAP is $599. You should be able to get either of those for less. The Vermona AF-II is just over $300. The Xone:92 MAP is $1699, but can be had for around $1400.

The Filter Queen apparently has some sound quality issues. I would go with a VF-1, but, since you want a mixer with built-in filters, you should go for the Xone:92. To be fair, I have a Xone:92, but would love a VF-1, it's an incredible unit. I haven't used the Vermona. I believe it's a revised version of the Stanton, which has been discontinued.

I'll jump in here and say that www.agiprodj.com has the best prices and best service. I got my Xone:92 from them. Justin and Jason are solid guys.

Currently in the process of designing my own filter unit... then hopefully a digital sampler/looper at some point in the future - we'll see how that one turns out!

This is supposed to be coming soon, so uou should check for it.

I was thinkign of getting one, but I'm not really interested in using it for the master channel, I would prefer to use it separately for each channel, as I can do in Traktor DJ Studio, SO I guess, I would have to wait a few years and get a Xone 92 =).
