iPod Levy Refund - If you bought an iPod/iPodMini from Dec 13, 2003 to Dec 31, 2004

In September 2005, Apple announced a program to refund money collected for a levy imposed by the Canadian Private Copy Commission (CPCC) under the Copyright Act. Customers who purchased an iPod in Canada between December 13, 2003 and December 21, 2004 were charged up to $25 depending on which model iPod they bought. Canadian courts have declared the levy invalid and approved refund of the money.
If you purchased an iPod or iPod mini in Canada between December 13, 2003 and December 21, 2004 and have not already submitted a claim, please take a moment to visit our website at http://www.apple.com/ca/ipodlevyrefund to see if you are eligible for a refund.
The deadline for claim submission is December 31, 2005, and all claims must be postmarked on or before that date. Money that is unclaimed after December 31, 2005 will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross. |

The levy was struck down by the Supreme Court in July, and Apple started offering the refunds around September or so. |

| I am eligable but I think i will leave it unclaimed. I think the Red Cross could use that money more then me this year. |

Sweet.. well My iPod don't work and Apple won't honour the warranty since there is a dent in the case. But at least I get 25 bucks out of em!
