Yeah, I realize that. But if I can bypass two years of unpleasant obstacles...... well why not

I guess I wouldn't want GED on my resume. everytime you apply for something you will have 1 strike against you. GED says loser whether you like it or not.
Sunsnail
It feels like a waste of time

nope he won't. no one will know because like i said, once you're in college you're in, no one really cares how you got there or how long it took you to get there. some of the smartest people i've ever met, including some of my prof's who own companies had GEDs and then took seriously.

education isn't waste of time its in investment in you and your future. I tell you what take year off and get full time minimum wage job to find out what a real waste of time is. you'll also learn how hard it is to:
1. get a job
2. earn living
3. how boring unskilled labor jobs are.
BTG
highschool is a waste of time. but it's also handy having that stupid peice of paper saying you wasted your time.

its hard to understand the significance of it, but i mean you can get your equivilancy test or what ever its called and go from there, but you might as well finish highschool and chill with your friends.
Sunsnail
Yeah, I guess. I dont learn anything though, which makes it a waste of time.

what makes you think he'll be admitted into a decent college with a GED and then graduate from it if he can't even hack high school?
