Just bought a new sound card. If anyone has an extra second, please listen to this 3 minute sample. I have mixed together Ferry Corsten - It's Time into Purple Haze - Adrenaline. I am brand new at this and would like feedback on my ability to mix. I want to know if I just completely blow or if I am headed in the right direction.
Also, I would like feedback on the actual sound quality that my card is pumping out. I went out on a budget. Thanks for your time.
After the 1:30 mark I pick the needle up and just start messing around.

you should have encoded it to mp3 first... downloading... will edit this post when i hear it..
EDIT: i wasn't listening that closely, but i didn't notice any big galloping beats... practice makes perfect ;) |
