Yes that's the one, very long intro, male voice, great surround hall effect, slow first part, but nice, lively and very up-tempo second part. Really hard to dance on. One of the best tracks ever, so long, so nice, such a special sound. I heard this track several times in a Dutch club (when I was young, like 10 years ago...), and every time it blow off the roof again.

It already was hard to find in those days, on CD I mean.
Since it wasn't release seperate, but at Right in the Night it will be difficult to find a sample.
After a long search a friend of mine found this long version on a german compilation called Buhda Trance :)
I have another version of it on the "Right In The Night" remixes single, but that one is not so stunning.
Just listened it again, would call it hard because of the up-tempo. Same goes for The First Rebirth. This one was played in the same club which had a terrific sound system, (kiss your f. ears goodbye...)
Maybe it even was a bit pitched up. I think the original is still the best. Many remixes are a bit softer like the 2005 Airwave remix.
But play it really loud and also this one will blow the roof.
The MegaDJ's Remix has some harder sounds in it, more 303 and breakbeat, the "dominator" sound, a "Let me see you dance" sample and the Happy Hardcore sound. Remember this tracks were just before the start of the Happy Hardcore hype, so remixes were influeced by this style.
Both track to me are special because they have a sound of there own and were perfect as original version, no remixes needed. |
