Are their any trance tracks which has Sitar melodies in it?

Sitar is a traditional Indian musical instrument, it sounds amazing.

I can post a pic of it if anyone dosent know what it is.

Being Indian myself, I def know what you're talking about. I honestly haven't heard any, but I do agree that it'd really kick ass. Google it maybe? lol.

it sounds like a cross between a harpsicord and a harp

basically a really long guitar being hit with a metal stick, which makes a twang noise, kinda like a harp being hit with a metal stick instead of plucked

No, no hanky, that's the refracted fiddle. The sitar makes the durrrrrrr SP. uuuuw. uuuuw. SHHHHHHHHHHH.

Sitars are for dicks with pricks, how bout the mandolin? huh? HUH

There's one. Does it produce a sort of droning sound? Muffled? Can someone just attempt to make the sound themselves and record it. Ok thanks.

Er... we aren't talking about the instrument from The Private Psychedelic Reel (not the clarinet) by the Chemical Brothers, are we?

correct me if i am wrong but....I beleive the sitar is featured in two tracks

Tiesto - Lethal Industry

Talla 2xlc - Innocence
MinuS
The sitar has a pretty distinct sound to it.

If youve heard of Cypress Hill's Temple of Boom album, they use the sitar at the beginning of almost every other track.

I cant really think of any other tracks with a sitar in it though.
