Surely the whole point of Voyage is to be played in the middle of an uplifting set as one of the peaks? |

I say use it as a filler for peak hour. If you're going to play a 2 hour set, a song like that is too hi NRG to start off with and by the time you get to peak hour, the crowd will be bored.

I normally start of my sets with melodic proggy stuff and then gradually progress into trance but if you are going for a whole set of all uplifting trance, one that I enjoy is:

isnt the "point" of one tune a highly subjective matter? Imo theres no right or wrong time when to play a track as long as it fits in as a whole. I do understand that the traditionalists would play it later in their sets.. but hey, i am not one. |

Going along the lines of the Jump The Next Train into Whiteroom idea....
It would be cool to start off your set with "The Auranaut - People Want To Be Needed (Sunrise Mix)" and then mix in something else... it's a nice 4 minute percussion-less mix that is very chill and uplifting when mixed in with a proper song afterwards.
props to rapidfire for recommending "go". love that as an intro track!
you could always just go with the original mix of People Want To Be Needed as well.... |
