It was a standard exam, it was just an exceptionally difficult question that was probably better suited to a history major as opposed to a room full of kids filling out GDR's.

I don't remember exactly, and I don't have a copy of the question (She doesn't ever hand out hard copies of her essay exams), but the core of it was a hypothetical situation in which we were making a research proposal for a cultural history of the 1990's and 2000's, using Robert Darnton's "The Great Cat Massacre" to reference cultural similarities between the current day US social climate, and French (and to a lesser extent, Western Europe) society leading up to the time of the French revolution... |

Heh my finals are actually pretty easy this semester.
Database class had a regular final as well as a pretty extensive project due, but we've had several weeks to work on it so that was no problem. My VB class is just some easy test with logic and some code and all that. My engineering class is actually a 50 question final and an essay question I get to do at home online :wtf: and i'm doing that right now :p. My final for my screenwriting class (damn GE) was to write the script for the first act of a movie...I basically copied 'groove'. Only one i'm worried about is on Thursday, it's for data networking and telecom, not really 'difficult' but I haven't studied or paid any attention in class. D'oh.
