Rocking!

Overall, it's looking pretty decent.. Might have to give it a listen once available.

Doesn't look too bad. Kinda funny he put 'Max Romeo - Chase The Devil' there as that's the one where the "out of space" samples are from.

I wonder how many would be willing to pay for this mishmash if it wasn't for Liam's name on the cover... still would like to hear those Prodigy tracks though.

Heh... That's always been the major complaint of the Back To Mine series. Many times it seems it's just a cobbled together collection of music by prominent names; celebrity mix tapes, so to speak. Sometimes they're quite good (damn, but the Faithless one was nice) but sometimes they sound far too random (hello The Orb).

Looks kinda all over the place.

Indeed. The idea of Back To Mine series is somewhat similar with the Abstract Funk Theory series, to compile tracks which have influenced the artist/producer's life or works over the years and what they think would suit in with the rest in some mysterious way.

Why couldn't they just put "Liam Howlett" on the sleeve, instead of tha oddly looking "Liam Prodigy" :conf:

Yeah I thought that was pretty in stupid too

If anyone wants a better version of something like this, go buy Prodigy pres. The Dirtchamber Sessions, Vol. 1, where Liam actually mixes and edits together a bunch of oldskool that influenced him as an artist. It's pretty sweet. Not just some cheap tossed together compilation.
