Alright Wisco TA's, this is an event that I've been waiting a tremendous amount of time for and is a very important night to both Dustin and I. Ravens lounge has invited us to play for a pre-holiday party in downtown Appleton, but the truth of the matter is that this is really our chance to show just what we can bring to the table for this club. I've already discussed more bookings with the owners, and hopefully the turnout for this night will only solidify the owners confidence in us.
This is an event I've waited literally years for, Ravens is a fantastic venue for house music, and a wonderful place just to chill. For more information, please check the website at:

Time: 10pm-close (2:30)
Set times (All approximate and subject to change):
Rob Turner: 10-11:20
Dustin Capelle: 11:20-12:40
Zack White: 12:40-Close

I realize there aren't many of you who are close to Appleton, but if there's any chance you'll be nearby or have the opportunity to make it up, we can use all the support we can get. Come on out and help set off the Holiday season proper!

From a quick browse of the website it looks very similar to Mell's Beauty Bar in Minneapolis. I really like those style venues.

I ended up actually playing there last night for about an hour and a half, and even though it was pretty much dead (No time to promote, found out about the gig like 3 hours before I had to be there), the place is great, and the owners REALLY want to get something going with us there, because oddly enough, the only real successful night they have with DJ's during the week right now is Thursdays with the Psi Control guys (All psytrance.... ewwwwww.... :p).
Also, I'll be there this Friday for a 45 minute - 1 hour set around 10PM, so if anyone is around then, please come on down and check it out.

Added to the lineup today is local Trance/Progressive Trance DJ Zack White, making this night pretty much something that Zack, Dustin, and I talked about for years when we were growing up.
A little background: Zack, Dustin, and I all started playing together around the exact same time, and for years we've talked about how much fun it would be to be able to do a night out together, all three of us, for a decent event at a respectable club. And while over the summer we had the opportunity to play a few larger events together, such as the one in Door County, we've never had the opportunity to take over a proper club and give a solid go at a night out until the owners heard Zack and Dustin play, and my CTTF demo, and offered us up their pre-holiday party. This is something we've talked about for a long time... I know it's just Appleton, WI, but at the same time, it's our home. This is where our families as well as our friends will get to see as play, many for the first time, so it should be just an unreal night.
I'll be posting up an hour and a half of Zack & my set from this past Tuesday, it's about 50 minutes worth of Zack spinning 99-01 style Trance and Progressive (But doing it, IMO, exceptionally well) and 40 minutes of DJ RJT house, it'll be uploaded later this evening.

Also, set times are posted in the first post, I'm playing early so family/friends with finals who decided to make the trip from Point can make it back at a reasonable hour.
And last but not least, this Friday you can see all 3 of us (I think, I'm questionable right now due to finals, BUT I'm REALLY hoping to make it out) at Ravens from 10-Close, I'll be playing the early set, and probably only 45-1 hour at most. So if that works out better for ya, come on out on Friday!
