Hey everybody, ive just decided to become a FL3 user, ive decided to get it after all the praise its recieved by everyone here!!
Can anyone set me straight if ive got any of this wrong:
I can use Fl3 to control my nova with midi
I can use vst instruments with FL3 (how easy is this to do?)
Fl3 is the single greatest piece of software ever and if i use proper synth and good samples there is no reason i cant put together a very decent track

Really? I didn't think it could sequence external gear.
Also didn't think it could use VSTi's
I doubt it, if it can also send out midi (sequence external gear) it'd become a competitor to the likes of cubase, logic, cakewalk.
And naw, I don't think it's the single greatest piece of software :D
It's a decent program, especially for people without difficult needs or gear. |

Holy crap piotr what version did you use last? 2?
you can to output to HW synths, and use vst or Direct X plugins (right, even the plugs for soundforge etc).. imho once you learn flp3.3 inside out you could roll Reason pretty easily!
VSTi use is easy, just install the vsti to fruity's plugins\vst folder, then it will show up in the channels menu. vst FX are handled similarly through the FX panel, then click more... and refresh.
Output to HW is in the sample browser under "Fruity FX presets"->Midi out, where it has a couple presets already (like for an access virus, etc) but you can also customize a software window (or a hardware control surface) to change whatever functions of your synth that you want through midi. That way you can sequence and automate your synth using flp.
