| We all talk alot about our favorite synths. How about your favorite effect plugins. I'd have to say I like CamelSpace alot - it's a great tool for original effects. |

limiter - tls maximizer
delay - ohmforce ohmboyz, ultrafunk sonitus delay
eq - plpareq, nyquisteq, posifhopit
reverb - m2 roomverb
other - camelspace, camelphat, and a lot of others i can't remember right now :) |

- Ohmforce Ohmboyz for some sick delay FX. Reversed delay, pingpongdelay, everything is possible.
- Bitcrusher (preferably E-Phonic LoFi), to spice up hihats and other percussion, or to create total industrial madness ;)
- dblue glitch. this plugin should be much more popular, you can create awesome timestretching, retrigger, bitcrusher, flanger FX like in Psy or IDM with it. Totally insane when used on percussion.
- The Waves MetaFlanger, there is no better flanger out there. Simply good sound quality. |

YEah...I'd have to say CamelSpace is really rockin' my productions right now! Take any mono synth and it totally breathes new life into it.

Pi Warp is my fav effect.
It has reverb, pitch, reso (no filter, just the reso) and more.
It can create really weird sounds :) |

SIR 1.008 is the best fu.cking reverb effect period. And here are the reasons why:
1) its 100% free and so are all the impulses at echochamber and noisevault.
2) noisevault has impulses recorded straight from classic hardware units like the Lexicon PCM-91 and they sound incredible. It also has amazing impulses recorded from real acoustic spaces.
3) SIR can be used for purposes other than reverb. You can import any wav file, stretch it, reverse it and in doing so, impart some of the properties of the wav onto the audio you are affecting. So if you imported a wav of a female vocal onto a pad, you can make the pad 'speak' in echoes.
Its weird but try it out! you have nothing to lose. |
