Running out in the rain ...

it's raining, drizzling or pouring cats and dogs. you have to go outside, because you want to leave (your car is outside), or you have to get something. you don't have an umbrella handy with you. do you run outside with no protection ?
i will. i know some people who are afraid to get wet by rain, and think rain water is going to kill them or something.. :rolleyes: ...
you can always wait it out for a couple of minutes, and wait till it stops, but what if it doesn't stop ? or it rains harder ? what do you do now ?

i dont really care if i get wet by rain. i once sat in at the bus stop in the pouring rain in 40F temps with massive amounts of wind. it sucked, i didnt really care that much except for the cold. i was wearing a short sleeved shirt and pants that night.
best experience with rain though, 2003, the last day of school. my friend was going to pick me and my other friend up, he has a pick-up truck. we had to sit in the back because the cab was full, the second we get out to his truck, it POURS. the first 5 minutes, we tried to stay dry, then just said it. we sat in the back of a pickup getting poured on with people watching us like wtf. afterwards, i borrowed some clothes from my friend and we smoked a good amount of bud. that made it all worthwhile. |

Into the rain FTW!
As a kid I loved getting wet in the rain but the adults always
yelled at me for doing so. Therefore, you grow up with the notion
that you shouldn't go out in the rain!

cold rain sucks... if it rains in fall/spring and it's cold outside, i'll do whatever i can to avoid getting wet.
but rain in the summertime is sexy... especially if it's a thunderstorm. |
