As a Communications major, I have analyzed the online "world" in contrary to the "real" world...
....essentially, they mesh together as far as language is concerned. :)
As the language online is becoming a medium for mainstream communications....
I was taught English in a private a school environment with French/Puerto Rican influenced pronounciation thanks to my parents. Chillin ;)
ultimately, what it all comes down to is this: Language of upbringing, circumstances of pronounciation (i.e. individual cases of random pArental composition), and culture (in general).

I have a kind of cynical and sarcastic sense of humor that doesn't come through at all off the internet. Even alot of people who have only known me for a short while don't really get it either. They think I'm like a vulcan with no emotions. But the truth is, I don't take myself seriousely at all. Plus I'm rather bizzare, and I act sporadically and spontaneousely.
Although, according to alot of people, I talk exactly the way I write. |
