I'm heading up to Irwindale Speedway this coming Saturday to watch the D1 Usa vs Japan drift exhibition match. It's the first time I'll attend a drift event aside from DVDs or TV. Unfortunately, I'll be going by myself as my "drifting partner" has the 9-5 day. I have his 2003 D1GP yearbook and I'd like monkeyman Nomura to sign it, Xmas present or whatever.
I'm wondering if the pits will be open as i'd like to see the engines first hand, especially Orido's Supra and Kumakubo's Imprezza. Ah, Ken Gushi, Ryhs Millen, Alex Pheiffer, Kazama, Taniguchi. Hell, maybe even Tsuchiya and Daiijiro.
Hopefully those wide mustangs won't crash into anything |

| one of my neighbors has an RX-7 with one of those carbon fiber drift GT spoilers. The back of his car is so ed up with scratches and dents. I'm only guessing that he thought buying a drift spoiler would give him super skills |
