very nice, the first things almost made me stop reading though...first tips are quite obvious...but hey the other things were quite fun...I didn't really get in NN:XT layering yet, but I consider it now, thanks a lot :-)
mzvirbulis
heres a cool tutorial thing for malstrom, you may find it useful.

malstrom

the one about malstrom is quite cool, but I think most of the things are obvious if you learned malstrom like me (trial and error) but it can make the way to it's full potential easier for people who didn't work with it yet...

btw...just bumping this up ;) some people might want to have look :tongue2
mzvirbulis
yes i think so too, thanks alot mate.

i thought it maybe useful, as you said most is quite obvious but sometimes its the simple things that people overlook. in my case trial and error but i still want to find how to use reason well because i know it is capable of coming out with good original sounds.
cheers booster!
regards matthew.

definatly nice read, perhaps we should know try to convert lame FL users to a REAL program :).
BOOsTER
FL is not that bad as most of Reasoners think, but it's not as great as reason is, well FL is just one of the above average progz :-)

mzvirbulis: yes actually knowing the base which is in the tutorial for malstrom can help a lot too. :-) Cheers :-)

Perhaps we FL users should try and convert ignorant people like you to knowing what you're talking about. What is Reason? Your ing religion? Would it make you feel more secure if you 'converted' us? We're just fine so leave us alone - we're busy making music.

Don't get hardcore with me, little one. Unlike a stupid, loops, step player Reason is a VST, meaning that a person who uses it can actually find his way around studio and know what the hell he is doing. And I'm actually talking out of experience. So shut up, and make "music" with your FL, the most usefull thing you can do with that program is pour it into a bowl of milk and eat it :)

damn, the old reason vs. fl debate is back :eyespop:
