Am i supposed to tie it to the top of the car? Wouldn't it get scratched?

Use the scrot.

How in the else would you bring it home other than tying it to your car's roof?

I lost 43 IQ points just by reading that post.

Put a goddamn tarp underneath it, Mr. Common Sense.

If you would have bought a G35 like I suggested, we wouldn't need to have this discussion, dumbass :p
Tordan

If you really want to protect your precious ride from those crazy pine needles. You can rent a van from Home Depot for about double the price you'll pay for the tree.

Get one of your women to carry it home in exchange for your man love.

Yes, because the G35 has a backseat big enough for an 8-foot pine tree

At most christmas tree places, they'll wrap it in this plastic stuff to keep it nice and tight. We used to throw it in the trunk (with the top hanging out the back) and strap the lid down. Unless you're buying a monster tree, you won't have any problems.

He is buying a 8 foot tree. Or so I think.

Just go buy a plastic one. It's reusable and you don't have to lug a tree every winter

I happen to really love our fake Christmas trees!

We now have 3 large ones in our house, and a semi-large too in the (finished) basement.

Our regular one (that the presents go under), then a white Christmas tree in the hallway (with fake presents underneath), then another on the upstairs landing to the stairway.

And for the last 2 or 3 years, we have a tall (but skinny) one in the basement main room! Generally me and all my friends will place our presents under this one! :) (since we're the primary users of the basement!)

Never had a real one, so I dont miss that "real pine smell many associate w/ real Xmas trees). I ing love how we can put up the fake ones so early and leave them up so late, unlike with real trees. (Oh yea - and the less hasstle part too I suppose.)

My vote is for store-bought fake Christmas trees.
