C'mon Kendo...you're comparing Circus with Porterhouse...even after you said the set rocked??? Man Porter was pure madness after Sasha last summer... You're coming mate!

Last 3 times I went the house room at Circus was EMPTY:
Friday Dec 9th-Nicola T and Joubin- good music- but it was empty.
Halloween- Oct 31st- Joeski, Vive Ann, Frank Famery
Really empty- a big waste of $40. Music was so so. Supposed to be some kind of costume contest but there was nothing.
Saturday Oct 1st- empty. Don't even know who was on the decks.
Saturday Sept 3rd- Nicola T + joubin- packed to the brim, excellent set by Nicola T. Only good night at circus.
Circus is 1/4 in my book. I expect to hear good music, but at the same time, I don't want to be in a giant room with me and my girlfriend dancing by ourselves like a couple of idiots because no one else decided to show up. Its just weird.
If Circus can point me to a particular night or dj where they actually fill the place and the dj knows how to throw down some dirty house tunes, please let me know. Otherwise, I'm not wasting my time on this place anymore. |

You consider empty being the old main room is not full, I think it's happening when the washroom forward is full. It's usually good from 4am-7am on Saturdays. I've gone almost every Saturday for the past year.
Oct 1st was Mondo House - Loco Fern and Bruno brown. It wasn't packed but it definitely wasn't empty. If you include the area behind the washroom section and the old main room, yes it's empty but the amount of space from the washroom forward is already about Aria's main floor size and larger than Stereo. |

If you arive past 12, its the same price just without the drink tickets. Still a good deal for M. Porter.
