Frankly, I don't see much to get excited about in terms of trance at either GG or UMF :( We have Armin, Ferry, and PvD over and over again all year long here; Oakenfold less often, but is he still relevant?
I was under an impression of better lineups last year... So unless someone can explain to me why what is going on during the week (vague "parties") is worth it, I may end up not bothering to go after all! I think my time would be better spent at summer festivals in Europe :) |

Fair argument. Trance isn't exactly spilling over at these 2 events but for me the lineups are great because along with seeing the usual suspects (Armin, Ferry, and PVD) I will be seeing some great breaks djs that I never get to see and house djs that I usually don't make the trip to LA to see. Not to mention The Prodigy live will be a serious highlight (at least for me).
Also on the WMC threads there is rumored an Armada night along with other great nights at Space that still haven't been announced like Meganite. |

other updates. Meganight will be on the 22nd of march same night as the armada label party. The Armada label will most likely be downstairs and the meganight label will be upstairs. |

It is not about GG or UMF for WMC... it is for WMC! |

man, to miss steve lawler at global gathering, please someone tell me he will be at one of the other parties starting after wednesday? i must dance to this dj again very soon!!!!!!! but hey nic fanciulli, sander k, morillo, AVH, carl cox, rabbit in the moon, benny, seb, donald, and so many more, to feed the hungry house/darkside of me! :crazy:
cannot wait for this party of 5 days of pure madness and music and so many TA's there to play with, i may not make it back. |

| I see your point Philippe. However; The line up is still early at this time for WMC. Based on my exp. last year.....I had the time of my life.....definitely worth the trip. I've just about been to every big event in LA and Vegas last year.....Armin, Markus, J00F, Cosmic Gate, Andy Mohr, Rank 1, Ferry Corsten, PVD, Tiesto in Concert, Sasha, Digweed, Lawler, Sander K, Matt Darey, Gabriel Dresden, Above and Beyond, Deep Dish, Kaskade, Blank and Jones not to mention locals like Kristina, Victor, Gil, Mike Lord, Bob M, Austin Scott, Fei Fei and at just about every venue....Avalon, Factory, Pearl, Vangard, Spundae, Arena/club Heaven, Red events, Mayan, club 740, Grand Ave, Sports Arena, Sports Coliseum, Love Parade, King King, Ivar, Ice, TIC NYE in Vegas...with all this.....WMC was by far the best event I attended last year. It just seems that with all the competition....most of the DJ's bring their "A" game there! I'm sure the European exp. will be even better.......just taking baby steps for right now until I can come up with enough courage and friends to join me for a european adventure. As a financial standpoint...WMC is quite affordable if traveling in a group! |

wow that would be amazing! The only tough decision would be splitting time between both floors!!!! Though Iwill mostly be at Armanada since mauro will play later in the week! |
