Help! Cd Player Problem!

hey guys i own a numark cdn88 (and it had just been serviced and diagnosed as nothing wrong with the player) and it randomly has problems reading recently burned cds (i use plextor 48x burner and imation blank cds)...in past ive always used imation and i had no problems, but now i guess the more recently burned stuff have some difficulty, the player like gets stuck at a position on the track while reading, as if it does like a small little loop...anyone know what problem could be? the burner is brand new, so i doubt its the burner, plus this problem started to rise when i was still using older burner, but is it possible that the last lets say 10 discs of the blank imation cdr spindle i have are defective or bad quality? because all the other imations ive used in past have had no problems until this day

if yes, do you guys think if i buy another brand type of blank cds itll most probably play better or u think wont make a difference?
if so, which brand of blank cds are generally the best in terms of quality? the darker blue or green dyed ones or the more goldish/silver dyed ones?

help! i gotta make sure my cd players wont skip again for next gigs coming up!

Yes please get another brand and quality doesn't have anything to do with the color. I've had an excellent experience with Memorex. Very dependable medium for recording. You might also try cleaning your cd decks. I know many office supply stores sells cd cleaners which are basically cd's with little brushes that you insert into the deck and run it. It will self clean the laser without any harm.
