I'm still in disbelief that last night even happened...it was so perfect. Thinking about it right now puts a big ass Kool-Aid smile on my face. We had played for 2 hours but the people wouldn't leave so we just kept playing till 3am...ON A WEDNESDAY!!!

Packer recorded all the sets so we'll get tracklistings up eventually but in the meantime here is what I remember myself playing and the order is REALLY sketchy:

01 Moonman - Galaxia (Ferry Corsten Intro Mix)
02 Ferry Corsten - Fire (Flashover Mix)
03 Matt Darey - Eternity (Thomas Datt Dub)
04 Marco V - I Feel You (Thomas Datt 2v2 Remaster)
05 Mike Koglin - 1:1.168 (Pulser Remix)
06 Phynn - Close Encounter
07 The Police - Message in a Bottle (Sander Van Doorn Remix)
08 4 Strings - Sunrise (Stoneface & Terminal Remix) (Dual Progress Dub Edit)
09 Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek (R3volve's Remix Reconstruction)
10 Gouryella - Ligaya
11 John O Callaghan - Chameleon (Thomas Datt Remix)
12 Holden & Thompson - Nothing (93 Returning Mix)

HIghlights of the night:

01. At 2am, letting the track play out to silence (ID Packer?), dropping Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek (R3volve's Remix Reconstruction) and seeing the reaction. Keep in mind that SA is a House city, so no one other than the TAs knew it and everyone was kinda standing there at first but when the beat dropped...everyone got euphoric (the hands in the air kinda stuff). You wanna know why I spend insane amounts of money on vinyl and put up with the disrespect, politics, genre snobs, and all the other needless bullsh*t surrounding our scene? Its for moments like that...I wish I could have frozen it in time so I could come back to it whenever times get tough.

02. Seeing Armando's reaction when dropping 4 Strings - Sunrise (Stoneface & Terminal Remix) (Dual Progress Dub Edit). Sorry I didn't play it sooner Champ, but Dirk's CD players were scaring the living crap outta me and after messing up a couple times before, I was hesitant to keep trying. It sounded beautiful on the system though!!! I'm playing the Hell out of that track...just an FYI.

03. Armando, Alberto, and myself being denied cigarettes at Exxon because Alberto was from El Salvador and they wouldn't accept his ID...that was pure hilarity!!!

Honorable Mention: Jacob, Armando, Bo, and I getting pwned by King Kong Nachos at Chacho's at 4 in the morning.

I had one of the best nights ever last night and I thank all of you for being there. Having you guys in the booth with us while we were playing just made things better and it really felt like family. It was a night any TA would have been proud of and if you guys think we should, I have no problem setting a date every other month for a TA night. Just let me know.

Jacob: You played some really great tracks last night and should be very proud. Next year is going to be big for you.

Dirk: What can I say man, its always a badass time hanging out with you. You played extremely well and "that song" sounded awesome on the system. Sorry your allergies were getting the better of you and I'm looking forward to hanging out with you again soon. if you ever bitch about thinking you're gonna suck again...I'm slapping you.

Armando: You're the man. I'm still getting PMs on Teknosounds from people asking who you were. I hope we made up for all the b.s. you've seen on your last visit to SA. Now you know what kind of standard DCS holds itself to and you're welcome any time to come out and play...just say the word. See you on the 13th!!!

Alberto: I didn't know much how I missed you until I saw you last night. It was good having you back and watching you work the lights and liquid ice made me laugh. You totally ran that!!! We need to hang out more before you jet.

Joel: Thanks for being there and I'm glad you loved the Imogen Heap track. When I pictured what it would be like to play it there...I thought of you jamming out to it and the reality was much better than what I had hoped for.

Bo: Good to see you getting used to being flipped "The Bird"...I expect you to do it more often. Thank you for being there last night...it meant a lot.

John O Callaghan - Chameleon (Thomas Datt Remix) FKN WOAH I normally dont like Datt's productions but that was woah!

Markus Schulz feat Interstate - Peaches and Cream That bassline is just fkn MASSIVE the entire track is just fkn beautiful.

Sarah Mclachlan - Fallen (Gabriel and Dresden Remix) The first time I hear that on a big sound system and I still fkn love it.

Ahhh where to begin! So much for working today, I just said fuck it and came home instead. I'm still in a state of euphoria and LOVING it because last night has officially made it into the top 4 parties I've been a part of here in the states (along with Nu-NRG @ Eternal back in April, Dave's bday @ Antro (April), and Judge Jules (May)). The feelings that came across last night, I could most closely liken to those experienced at the massives I used to attend back home in Melbourne... and those were insane. Picture PvD spinning in a huge indoor tennis centre to a crowd of 6000 with decor and lighting set up for the film crew who were present to shoot some of the scenes for the movie 'One Perfect Day'. Picture Tiesto in his prime, in front of a similar sized crowd dropping gems that I was hearing for the first time like 'Nu-NRG - Dreamland', 'Tiesto - Suburban Train' and '4 Strings - Into The Night' (back when it hadn't been slaughtered with those appauling vocals)... and then being followed, for the sunrise set, by Mauro Picotto. Okay I'm getting a little off topic here... but the point being, all of the above experiences, including last night, are the seeds for my passion for trance! I think I'll remember this night for the rest of my life.

Tracks I dropped:

1.
2.
3.
4. Ferry Corsten - Star Traveler (Hydroid Remix)
5. Silent Elektra - Polarity (Jochen Miller Remix)
6.
7.
8. Flash Brothers feat Tiff Lacey - Faith In Love (John '00' Fleming Remix)
9. Fred Baker vs. Greg Nash - System Activated (Fred Baker Mix)
10.
11.
12. Minddrive - Around You (Original Mix)
13. Giuseppe Ottaviani - Linking People (Original Mix)
14.
15.
16. Kamaya Painters - Far From Over (Original Mix)
17. Signum - Push Through
18.
19.
20. C-Quence - Endorphine (Original Mix)
21. UKNY Connection - Amsterdam (Filo & Peri Remix)
22.
23. Nu-NRG - Dreamland (Original Mix)

Ahhh gotta run, post more later! Also sorting through pics and cutting up the recordings for download ...
