Hi all... I figured it's time to buy a first vinyl player...
A teacher at a DJ school offers his Technix SL1200 (probably MK2) for 1800 NIS = Approx. 400-450 US $$$ ...

is that for one or two technics? you could probably get a new technics for that price in a store or on-line. i've seen technics sell for around $350 USD online at www.sixstardj.com or www.123dj.com but i don't know how much shipping is to Israel. if he's selling one table for $400-425 then you might want to look at these online retailers and see how much shipping is and get brand new ones. just an idea. if the price is for two technics then you got yourself a good deal and don't hesitate to snatch those up provided they are in proper working condition. you need to find that out too. cheers!

Checked at 123 and it's 400 USD which are about 7 more expensive than what that guy offered :D
I think he's offering 1 TT...
So the question's narrowed to : "Are the shipping costs (Which are probably 25 USD to B very extremely optimistic) worth it being brandnew? (Asumming the guy's TT is in working conditions) |

Well, another deal I saw is 2 of em Technix for 3000 NIS= 730 USD or something like that...
Which one's worth going for considering I won't need 2 TT's in the near future (BUt will in the long run...)???
