Help! (computer stuff) (pg. 2)

great ill try system restore and Im using thseo links as I type. Again though can you tell me where System Restore is located? This new comp is the first one Ive had all to myself so Im a little rusty when it comes down to this stuff..
EDIT: nvm I found it. I seem to have it on and turned up to the max so I guess that didnt work... |

okay well it seems all else failed... I scanned with the first link and it removed most of the stuff but there was still 3 of them it couldnt delete (probably the thats giving me trouble):

I should also mention that the ad-aware keeps catching the same one over and over again and theres one that spybot cant remove either. heres a pic just incase anyones familliar with it and how to get rid of it before I do this;

its the middle one without the checkmark beside it. those other ones were new I guess. They just keep coming... |

Very smart...you taught me something new about ghosting.
As for Rapidfire could you please open task manager (fully maximized windows), go to processes tab, and show me a screenshot of that please. |

Well, if I were you, I'd reinstall Windows.
But if the thing keeps on reinstalling itself over again, then it's bc it's a running process. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL and close everything that is not supposed to be open. Then run both Adaware and S&D again. |

id rather explore my options before I do something as big as that...and its not like i dont have time. everythings running smoothly. Its just those goddamn popups that are pissing me off :mad: |

First of all disconnect your internet cord and make sure these programs are not open at all and end their processes as well before running a virus, spyware, and other countless checks:
iexplore.exe
firefox.exe
ipodservice.exe
ehsched.exe
ehrcvr.exe
inCDsrv.exe
POPUPS~1.exe <---end this process, search for this file on windows and delete it.
Now that the programs and these processes are closed, run all the checks over again. Hope that helps!

| use www.trojanscan.com too.. and always make sure you have the latest updates for spybot etc. |

well two of those processes I couldnt end and it still couldnt delete that one in spybot. not to mention I got even more spyware now. thanks for trying though. |
