Back from the dead..
Im deciding on a mixer, its gonna be my first ever.. I basically dont ever want to upgrade, Im deciding between the djm 600, xone 32, and xone 62. All i want is two or three chanels, i want the best sound. Please help me make my decision if you have used all three mixers.. thanks! |

| The empath is a phenomenal mixer, moving to a 32 won't make you feel fulfilled. |

CDJs or TT?
I think the Xone 62 would be a good choice if you dont want to upgrade. |

| out of the 3 you listed, i'd definitely go for the 62. then again, i'd say it and save up a bit more for a 92. |

I was thinking about but the XONE:32 and I was just curious if anyone here uses this board and what they think of it. I currently use a Rane Empath but was looking for a change.
Please let me know what you think.
Thanks much! |
Stick to the empath.
Solid quality mixer.
Or switch to the rotary for a change ;)
What you thinking of doing
is a lot like trading your high end bmw
for the low end model of mersedes benz.
Why ? |

Ok...well both are nice...if you think you wont need more than 2 channels...and want something smaller...go for the 32.
I wish I had gotten a 62 just cause I want to run 6 channels from ableton into the mixer and use it to mix instead of Ableton's mixer.
With 3 its still fun but I'm more limited. |

Do the 32 and 62 have the same features and sound quality?
thanks. |

Same great A&H sound...the 32 has 3 band EQ per chanel, the 62 has 4. They both have the same set of filters...albeit with different control setup. |

... a while back, and ever since then I've played with just how much of Aftermath I can get mashed up, just basically layering the synth line over anything and everything that's in a compatible key... |
totally off topic here, but i noticed that when we played in point in november. i fooled with the HPF on aftermath and threw in chris micali - kinshasa. that mixer is sooooooo smoooth. i still have wet dreams about it.
ok, carry on... :D |

Yeah...I wish the 32 had full cuts like the 92 (-infinity)
The 32 goes to -26db |
