All these cracks are there on purpose. If Microshaft wanted the xbox secure, they would... It's a smart marketing ploy to leave holes, because a hackable system sells more.

In the meantime...

Have a spare Xbox 360 Premium system lying arround? These girls would like to have sex with you.

Too bad it doesn't make sense from a monetary point of view because they loose money on every system sold. They make money on the games, and if you are playing pirated games, it does not help them one bit.

Microsoft lost a few billion dollars on the first xbox over its life, because system was so expensive to manufacture and the games did not sell as well. And we know how prevalent the hacking community was with the first xbox.

are we sure they could keep it secure even if they wanted to?

...they haven't exactly successfully kept their prize baby Windows locked down very well. ;)

I totally agree with daves. It's hillarious to think that MS could make something secure if they wanted to. Suurreee, IE, windows* etc have been great examples of how MS can create a secure product. Let me guess, MS is making insecure products to create a large market for anti -virus, anti-trojan, etc software?
