but actually techno kicks are various modifications of the TR909 Kick, search net for it, you'll find decent samples.
and the modifications may vary from EQing, wave-shaping, different pitching to things like distortion and so on.
Actually I think they have quite more the low end as they bang a lot.
Electro kicks are different at least to me, I would suggest a heavily compressed distorded kick (909 or any other of your choice) where you roll of parts of the low end, which makes it a bit more like "acoustic" drums. Or you can also go for the acoustic drums and make them sound more electro. |
