Man, all I've heard is pretty much hot air from all leaders.

i bet the media is going to exploit harper saying "canada is a big empty country"

Now what he meant was that its a wide open country thats difficult to govern due to its huge size but lets just see how the media spins it.

Wow the leaders are all saying "merry christmas" at the end of their closing remarks.

This is another sign in the reverse of political correctness that ive be seeing in the last year.

Thank God!

Well, Christians are still a major force in this country and alienating them would be a wrong move on trivial issues like 'Merry Christmas'.

I'll give Duceppe credit for. He's really good at pushing Quebec's agenda.

LAyton is an ..

he just said that "women are less likely to be disruptive and rowdy in the house of commons."

Layton should step down for such sexist remarks.

There should be more women in parliament. There'd be no wars. No woman ever led her country into war. Except for Queen Isabella, Elizabeth I, Margaret Thatcher, Indira Gandhi, Catherine the Great, Cleopatra, Queen Victoria, Mary Queen of Scots, Boudicca, Joan of Arc, Bloody Mary, and pretty much every other woman ever put in power. But other than that, we should definitely have more women in government!

LOL

I'm imagining Hillary Clinton winning with a majority...after being officially endorsed by Oprah Winfrey, resulting in the largest increase in voter turnout in recent history ;)
