| as stupid as it sounds... I think being in Seattle kills Shaun... being way out there on the west coast... he doesn't get an awful lot of exposure. I know they focused the MNF Eagles bash on him, but he still is relatively unknown, to the East Coast anyway, I THINK... I think that may be the only thing that hurts him, but I don't think you can ignore his numbers, he's SICK! |

I TOTALLY AGREE with that... I take LT number 1 everyday over Shaun... but you know how the media and voters are... its not always BEST PLAYER, it's the player who meant the most to their team... and in my opinion, the Hawks aren't 12-2 without SHaun, they probably go 7-7 without him.. ya know? The Chargers are 9-5.. if the Chargers are 11-3... then LT might be a closer MVP candidate...
who knows... they might give us another CO-MVP this year....lol... |

this is probably the closest mvp race in a long time ..
lt, alexander, tiki, carson, and the chicago bears defense (include all 11 in the ballot as one whole) .
hey. the bears shut down carolina and atlanta ... well both were @ chicago, but hell, they shut down 2 good offenses .. they deserve some credit , right ? :conf: |

- Alexander, MVP: Seattle rules the division and the NFC, with the best record. Moreover, Shaun is on pace to Rushing & Scrimmage TD record.
- LT could miss the playoffs.
- Palmer (> Peyton Manning) has some options.
- Tiki ranks 10th on Rushing TDs (yes, 2nd in Yds). |

i don't know. any qb that can rack up 300+ passing yards with wideouts such as troy brown, david givens, and deion branch deserves some credit ... hahhahaha ...
not top 5 qb... he is the pure role model for all "system" qbs .. you put him in the system, have him learn it, and he looks like a superstar .. same goes for trent green .
if we are going to put tom brady as top 5 of "all time" , then we have to put him up there with dan marino, brett favre, fran takerton, dan fouts, johnny unitas, joe montana, and john elway ... can we do that ? no. |

Brady is better than Elway, Unitas, Fouts, Tarkenton, FAVRE, and MONTANA... I have a soft spot for Marino... but he never won the big show... so BRADY is no. 1!!! |

unless brady does a 360 flip into the end zone during the super bowl or throws a touchdown pass in 47 consecutive games or throws for 45 000+ passing yards or is part of a big offensive dual where both teams racked more than 1200 total yards or sticks his head between three defenders to get the first down or plays with two broken thumbs or throws the most accurate super bowl game ever, then i am not convinced ... :o |
