More still to come later today when I get home, but...
Kenny Glasgow was not in the building (did not open). Jerome did a good job filling in from 11 pm until 1:15 am or so.
Tedd Patterson was exactly what I expected - dark, percussive house. Tedd's style was that of persistent finesse. The track selection was driving but not high-tempo driving - subtler, but equally as effective. Tedd's set was a little shorter than I had expected (or I just lost track of time...)
Honey Dijon!!! Honey is a party DJ. The place went bonkers with the very first track. Honey is a master of the bangin' party haus. Big drums, big builds, the whole room going off over and over and over. Honey was in control, and loving it just as much as the audience. Honey is a -must see- moving forward.
All this combined = one hell of a party.

Honey has never disapointed whenever i have seen her, and this time was no different. Bangin music all night long and she knows how to test the limits of any system. Crowd was really good, alot more ladies than usual which was a sigh of relief...unfortunately it also brought out every sleazeball in the city..except your boyfriend from Woodbridge Marg, he was cool:haha: :p
funniest moment of the night:
random dudes behind me.."..man this place is filled with sausage, but I'd bang that DJ in a heartbeat...she's so in hot!!"
me....snickers quietly to myself..
big negative for the night....the sandwich maker crew was in full effect:mad:
...and this time the stripes stayed on the road |

I would like to thank all my best buddies that joined me for this excellent party. RJ, Graham, Tristan, Digi, Stevie and Emma = people that make a great party!
The tunes were amazing and I can't believe that I stayed dancing so long.
Tedd Patterson was such a cool lookin' DJ. And Honey Dijon was truly having a fun time in the booth. I would definitely go see both of them again. I don't usually dance for that long! |

honestly the first party at the new boa where there was a crowd that i was somewhat dissapointed..
- missed kenny :( nothing against jerome - he did a great job filling in
- dissapointed in the length of Pattersons set.. seems Ms. Dijon came on quite early..
- and I'm not sure why/how, but Honey lost me.. she played a bunch of mixes I don't care for, of tunes I really like :( sux2bme i guess because she had the place goin' off.. just not me.

The lower floor was kicking butt that night - and the people down there knew how to dance! Too bad none of you guys wanted to stay down there for more than a few minutes.
Mr. Patterson and Honey Dijon were kind of on and off for the night, but the place seemed to be going off anyway! Pretty good night overall, good crowd (perhaps a little sleazy that night) and it was nice getting to (sort of) chill with the old gang. Always a pleasure!
P.S. Tristan, it's "toches". :p |

I have to say, it was nice to finally get a proper night of tribal. The night was everything I expected, and more. Honey Dijon stole the show. She really knows how to get a party going. I can't believe that was my first time seeing her. I will definately be checking her out next time she's in town. She's highly underrated, imo. |
