Hi guys, ive just finished a new track called crush. I thought I’d post it up and try and get some feedback so please feel free to take a listen :)
I haven’t given it a proper mixdown yet but you can get the general idea. I’ve gone for more of a progressive direction with this one.

Up to 1:19 quiet likeing the soothing sounds. Bassline is pretty cool too.
Not liking the synth that comes in at 1:19, takes away from the soothing feeling of the track.
2:20 bassline playing the same melody for way too long, needs some variation because it becomes too repetivite.
Overall, not bad! Maybe try and vary your sounds a bit more by putting more elements into the track like pads with filtered sweeps on them to fill up the mix more. You shouldn't realise that elements like these are in the track (they kinda fade into the background on a subconcious level) but a track wouldn't sound right without them. Would like to hear more effects too, filtered white noise, again effects to fill the track out a bit more and for variation. Overall: not bad :) |
