Reason Question - Routing two outputs to same effect

Hey guys. I was wondering how to route two synths to the same effects unit (for instance, in redrum, I'd like to route my open and closed hihat to the same RV7000 unit to save a bit of CPU). I know this should be obvious. I have Reason 3.0. I looked through the help but am unsure about how to proceed.
Thank you.

You could use send effects or use the spider audio merger unit to combine them to one channel. Create a mixer, then your effect units, then a redrum unit. Reason should automatically connect the wires. The S1 and S2 knobs adjust the send amount.

Thanks. Those were my thoughts as well. Looks like there are 4 sends? If I run out, do I just create another mixer? Thanks again.

Or use Spider audio merger....

Yeah, you can create another mixer (Redrum actually only support two sends). You shouldn't need more than 4 send effects, really. Put Reverb and Delay on the first two. Those are the one's you're gonna need the most for hihats/percussion/crash cymbals etc.
