Mysteryland this year I believe was held on the same day (27th Aug.) as Creamfields. My friend went to it and loved it, even more so than Dance Valley (but weather might have been an attributable factor). Mysteryland is just a little smaller than DV in terms of size (50,000 for ML, 60,000 for DV), and it doesn't get as great a line-up. I can't hang around that late so it's a no go for me anyway.
Oh and the date for Extrema Outdoor has already been set and it is the 15th of July. |

no no, not at all.
Had lunch with my supervisor today and he was saying a scholarship that i have an excellent chance of getting (and is worth some mighty good moolah, thats the good part) will mean I have to start first semester back at uni, not second as I was planning (bad part). This means I won't be able to do my original plan of kicking around Europe until Dance Valley before coming back. This means pretty much all the festivals are out of the question, and rather than 3 months I'll have only maybe 2, earlier in the year.:whip: :whip:
I seriously dunno whether or not its good news though, cos the scholarship is good, worth quite a bit (for PhD scholarships) and I wasn't really expecting to get one cos of a crappy system they have so I'd be insane to turn it down, but I really wanted to hunt around Europe doing all this stuff (Its all I've thought about for the past month):( :( :(
