his old stuff is flippin great too. SASHA- LIVE @ ST IVES is wicked. so was his GLOBAL UNDERGROUND 013 - IBIZA cd that he released in '99. Never seen him live cuz i wasn't old enough to... now.. it's time :toocool:

Though I liked it, that was an admittedly proggy set...

I think you'll enjoy what hes playing now though Bjorn Dawg.

wtf do you care about it being packed...your tall ass always has a nice view :wtf: :p

I like prog...
I like trance, I like house, I like lots o' stuff. :p

Fundacion NYC 2005 is one of my favorite albums evAR.

Hehe I don't care about the view, I care about the retards that keep smashing into me when I'm trying to dance! Make me have to do the Simon elbow dance!

Like this guy at Ferry the last time he was at Avalon...

Tall, goofy looking guy wearing a black shirt and obviously blasted out of his mind. He was standing behind me screaming, "Ohhhhh Ferry! Put the headphones back on Ferryyyyyy!!!!" (repeat about 15x) Finally he moved forward and outta the way.

About and hour later he is pushing through the crowd running as fast as he can to the back, presumably to hurl the contents of his stomach in the bathroom. A little while after this he comes back, bouncing off all the people (including me :whip: ) in the crowd like a pinball and reeking of vomit. I finally had enough so I raise my hands over my head to cheer and clap, with my elbows coincidentally on level with the back of his head. :disbelief Three cracks in the back of the head later, he rubs his head with his hands, looks around a bit, and moves along.

and don't be hating on me cuz i'm vertically endowed ;)

I love his old stuff too. I was just pointing out he current sets have alot more energy. We've been listening to GU009 San Fran the past 2 weeks while working out.

I've always liked Sasha, except for his really proggy phase in 03', though he still was great mixing and set flow wise...the tracks just didnt always get me going.

Lately though he is OMFG...and hes been playing faster tracks too, like 132-134...

As a wise person I know once said... "A DJ should play the music at the speed it sounds best!" and I think Sasha is very good at that now with Ableton, since he can adjust the overall speed of the music whenever he wants.

Anyway, I think this will be the show of 2006...but who knows what the rest of the year will hold...

dude, he does NOT play like picotto. picotto plays hard banging techno, also some electro/tech house. mauro would NEVER play anything close to cheesey trance.

every recent marco v set i've heard (because of anna), was embrassingly cheesey. so don't put down mauro like that! :p
