Listening now. Ok, hi hat at beginning is really bright, I dont know if that was on purpose. Beat at 1:00 seems really random with the fading in and out. I like the sounds for the rest of the track though. Nice and peaceful. That upbeat thats later in the song sounds a bit out of place though. Might want to turn down the volume? Anyway, overall, nice sounding track. I'd advise some more mastering, some stuff is too loud. Make sure you let the main focus of the track be the loudest.

Hey, thanks for the comments Justin. I used mostly my Korg Triton and a little Reason to produce my sounds. It's amazing what you can do with a combination of piano, guitar and synthetic Funk sounds.

Not bad.

Perhaps lacking in some elements that would perhaps give it a bit of funk and a little drive but it's nice to listen to.

The only thing that really does put me off the track is the constant use of that drum percussion that although it gives you the impression in the beggining, this is going to be good, after a while it really gets on your nerves. I think it may sit a little too high in the mix.

The track may well need another bassline and also another melody or pad to give it a bit more depth.

You sounds are nice a crisp though even if they are not balanced for the best possible mix but that can be worked on.

I think the first break needs something to start happening half way through as otherwise it seems a little redundant.

I think an ambient remix of this would sound really nice too.

Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.

All the best

Thanks Nemesis for your constructive criticism. I'm going to have another go at this track and at this point, I too feel like it could use another bass and melodic line so that the track will sound more full. That bang'n' percussive sound does seem to be a bit redundant, and I'll have to take all these things in consideration as well as making a balanced mix.

Cheers mate,

Brandon
