Hi guys
New Years Eve is nearly here and with it comes a very special Habit @ Candys Apartment.
Its been a top year for the club and to close out 2005 and welcome in 2006 in style we are running a big Habit fiesta down in Candys, which is going to be a very refreshing alternative to the many over-hyped and over-priced gigs around town this NYE. Top quality sounds in a great club surrounded by friends is what New Years Eve should be all about :happy2: :happy2: :happy2:
Expect a smooth journey of high quality, progressively building music that goes somewhere from a top class DJ line up:

The fun doesn't end there either - after we shut the doors at 6am its round to the iconic Sydney clubbing experience Kikkon, who will be hosting our official after-party well into the morning. Entry to Kikkon is $5 with a stamp - what better way to warm up for Field Day hehe :stongue:
Tickets will be available on the door but there are still a (limited) number of pre-sales left - available on-line here at inthemix(http://www.inthemix.com.au/shop/cus...p?productid=957) or Spank Records(http://www.spankrecords.com.au/ticketing/ticketList.asp).
They will guarantee entry b4 or after midnight so be quick! :nervous:

thanks to all those who made it down - it was an absolutely awesome night. Great crowd and great chooons in both front and back - the main room music had a really good flow to it and all the timeless piano house in the club classics room brought back a memory or two :gsmile:
Special thanks to Gil - his first set in the main room at Habit and he was very impressive ;)
Next Habit is Fri 13th Jan and then after that the Filthy Habit porn stars harbour cruise on Sat 4th Feb which will be absolutely huge - stay tuned... :happy2: |

top night! gil played a stormer, the rest of the night got blurry after that, i remember walking shirtless with the crew to paddington though :/

A top night indeed... and a dam tops weekend!!
A massive, massive thanks to all those in attendance at Habit on New Years Eve, one of the best Habit productions I have seen to date. The sound was just spectacular, the club was packed with friendly people ready for some serious partying, some added projected visuals... and the temperature in the club was kept to a pleasant state the whole time with giant fans and an airconditioner which made a world of difference.
I had a killer time playing, definitly one of the highlite sets for me as it was my first gig on a new years main stage.. cant thank the dancers enough for the amazing vibe they created and the energy that it feeded to me as I was playing.

Topped with some shenanigans at my house after the gig (ahem Cameron), a monster Field Day with an awesome group (Mark and Jake.. nice to catch up for some drinks with you guys), and then the after-party back at my place... again, makes it one of the best / and oh so messy weekends in a long time (only thing that was missing was Jace, but I know he ripped it up somewhere on the coast of Mexico!
