I'm planning to buy a cd deck , I want to get the CDJ 1000 but thats like $700 more than the CDJ 800.
Is there a big difference between the two decks? Whats your experience with the two?
Thanks chaps.
ps the cdj1000 looks awesome though :P |

| depends what you want to do. if its for mixing at home and taking to parties, the 800's are just fine. $700 price difference? |

Fark off Karntox. Mix on the way after these holidays.
You can get a cdj1000mk2 from Jb hifi for between $1299 and $1399 depending on which store you go to. They are on ebay fairly regularly as well.
I personally love the memory card with stored cue's and loops so i wouldnt even bother with an 800 for that reason alone.
Also do some research on here -

I found that site very helpfull. I guarantee there would be threads on there about buying 1000's over 800's and vice versa.
Go the 1000! |

The CDJ-200's are pretty nice looking, cheaper, and very highly regarded in the DJ Booth. Nice and accurate pitch, effects etc, just doesn't have the big platter nor vinyl emulation
Check em out,
personally though, if I were to get CDJs it'd probably be the 800s |
