Info: The sixth annual Giant NYE bash will return to Wilshire Blvd. in downtown Los Angeles on, you guessed it, December 31. This year’s event will be expanded to cover six blocks, and this time, Proton Radio will be there!
The Grand Stage will feature live performances from The Black Eyed Peas, Z-Trip and Junkie XL. The Hope Stage will be highlighted by Death Cab for Cutie, Christopher Lawrence and Jason Bentley. On the Flower Stage, John Digweed (5-hour set) and Jimmy Van M will man the decks. The Crystal Method will headline their Community Service stage with Adam Freeland. The Deep Stage will have Miguel Migs and Marques Wyatt. The Mutayor Stage that will have a variety of DJs and live performers, fire artists, aerialists, tribal drummers and dancers.
The Basic Lounge presented by Proton Radio: A subterranean indoor/outdoor sanctuary located adjacent to the Grand Stage and featuring underground music by Proton Radio resident DJ's Justin Gourley & John Do (Basic) plus guests. Located at Casey's Irish Pub - in the heart of the Giant Village at 613 S. Grand (between 6th & Wilshire). |
