and yes these are good. The comfort thing is something you have to get used to it's a little strange at first cause you will hear things a little differently. Also avoid taking them in and out several times in an evening as it might irritate your ear and also cause them to not seal sound properly ( not sure why that happens but it does ). |
Well, what I'm worried about is that if I wear these for 6 hours straight, my ears get irritated from wearing them so much... |

No you'll be fine. It's just if you take them in and out several times in the same night that it might irritate you.
You have to remember it is a foreign object to your body so of course there's going to be some adapting to do but after wearing them several nights out you won't even notice.
Heck I'm making it sound worse then it really is. It's really no big deal.
I've partied with earplugs for well over 6 hours straight and it never caused any problems. It's totally fine |

| i saw some guy wearing them at a club i went to. the music wasn't that loud so i really didn't know what was up. they look kinda weird in my opinion. i can see if the music is ReALLY loud, but other than that...? |

| I'm not really concerned about fashion or anything...I just wanted to know if there was some unwritten rule of raving about earplugs. I'm glad there isn't though since I have fairly sensitive ears and don't really enjoy the idea of going deaf any time soon. |

some people like me, have problems related to hearing and being exposured to loud noise for a long time is not good. PLease remember that we dont have teh same perception of what " loud " is...
so yeah....if he wears them, he has a reason... |

| I wear earplaugs to some clubs, like soundbar in chicago.(fock that place is heavy). I have had problems in the past with them messing up the sound, I tend to switch which ear the earplug is in through out the evening. But I ordered a pair of the plugs that jennypie recomended, see if those have less interference on sound quality. |

| I've worn those types of earplugs before. I never really payed that much attention to the sound quality, those were just what I was given at work... However, I can say that while they aren't particularly comfortable they aren't to bad either. Comfortwise they are deffinatly a step down from those ones you roll up and stick in you ear, but those are less fashionable, if that's your thing. |

| Does anyone actually have any pics on how those er20's look when you wear them? They seem like they may stick out a lot.. |

those er20's are very similar to the ones teh Army gives us for our combat stuff... how far they stick out is totally dependent on how big your ear canal is... if you have a small one like mine then they will stick out adn look retarted... but if you have a gaping cavern for an ear canal then they should fit nicely...
but the nice thing about them is regardless of how they look they will work for any sizes.. |
