House and Trance in the same set?

I was wondering if anybody has ever mixed House and Tech-Trance together, or any kind of trance for that matter? Curious to see how well this kind of mix of music would work or perhaps it has already been done?
Was thinking maybe start out with some tech house...move into tech trance..and then some uplifting trance to finish it off. |

| it can work if done right. of course it cant be PURE trance and PURE house otherwise its not gonna sound coherent. But if you build up from some slow proggy house and work your way up to prog trance it can work. |

Dogzilla is pretty good for connecting trance and house, i know one of my favourite mixes is

| I think Marc Marberg - Guarana would be a good track to transfer over to the trance side of things or perhaps ferry - right of way. |

heres a couple mixes I did that I'm pretty proud of:
October 2005
Has Gorillaz, chab, Tiga, M.I.K.E., Erick Morillo, GnD and Markus, some other stuff too. Cue included.
September 2005
Has Nathan Fake, PVD, GnD, SVD, Harry Lemon, Agnelli and Nelson, John O'c and more. Cue included.
Some of the best sets are House and trance combined, along with many other genres. It lets the set build and build and can move the whole crowd together. If its going to happen tho, the selection and placement of tracks is what will make the difference. A nice building set that just keeps pushing it is the way to go. |

i as well think it can be done if it is done properly... in my opinion, a good example of this would be the essential mixes of oakie in 99. i think he adds some nice variety in his song selection by throwing in some house (i guess you could say prog house) along with trance. i really enjoy miro - by your side and i definitely wouldnt classify it under trance.
i dont think armin and tiesto do it properly.. i dont see how you can do some supersaw trance and then mix it into something like the drill |
